In 1987, Vicki was very young and found out she was pregnant. She was being pressured towards choosing abortion, but her mom wanted to confirm the pregnancy. They found our clinic in the phonebook and made an appointment. During her appointment, Vicki felt comforted by the staff and became confident that her baby was a gift from God and deserved to live. In January 1988, her daughter Samantha was born.

It is not only our clinics that make an impact on our communities but our youth development ministry, More2Life, as students learn to make the right decisions for their future. Such was the case with Danielle, who, as a middle school student, heard More2Life’s presentation on sexual risk-avoidance and immediately dedicated herself to Jesus and her future husband.

When nineteen-year-old Starr found out she was pregnant, she was terrified. She already had two young girls and was about to graduate high school with honors and her associate's degree. How could she care for another baby? When Starr and her fiancé searched for abortion clinics, God directed them to us. There, our counselors met with Starr, praying and encouraging her that she could do this. Because of their support, Starr chose life!

Most women wait at least 25 years before seeking healing from an abortion loss. Our ministry, Passages of Hope, serves women and men who are struggling with trauma and loss from an abortion, no matter how long ago it was. Passages of Hope visited a youth group where Sierra was reminded of her mother, Yvette, who had an abortion many years ago but seemed like she was “over it”.
